Who doesn’t uses app’s these days? What app’s do you find most useful? The word “app” is common place. But, the word application has not always meant what it means today!
The meaning of words change periodically. For example, some words are portmanteaus, i.e., “podcast”. It is a combination of “ipod” and “broadcast”. Thus, the word application has evolved during my life time. When I was a young student, my teachers often said, “APPLY yourself” which meant that we should give our best effort to the task at hand.
Today, APP has a totally diverse and unique meaning. Applications, or Apps (as they typically called), are software programs that are used on a myriad of hardware systems. There are practically millions of App’s, or so it seems.
Just how much of this APP stuff does one really need? I’m glad you (and I) asked that question. One needs to have APP KNOWLEDGE to the degree that it benefits you. You need App’s that are helpful for you.
◊ Which apps do you most need?
Remember: Keep apps that you are using or will use in the future.
