Instructional approach shall always be updated, modified and developed over time. As music educators, we need to prioritize good, effective and useful music teaching resources and strategies to mold, create and make highly motivated and enthusiastic students. That's why I always integrate technology especially the power of the internet into my music teaching experiences. I appreciate the benefits and features that Internet brings to the classroom as my students enjoy it, too. These kinds of music teaching software and websites deserve appreciation and acknowledgment. Please consider more piano teaching tips on your next posts.

These are really exciting times for educational technology!

Yes, I have seen the list and this is where I was able to find Music Teachers Helper, a software that has helped me a lot in managing my private studio. I am very thankful that Dr. Pisano has this vision to help his fellow music teachers.

You are indeed right. Our artistic skills may deteriorate unless we find some time to relax and do some other stuffs. There are lots of music teachers resources that provide tips on how to do such.

Thanks for sharing!

John,

I just stumbled on your site (from About.com) and read your article on Digital Natives.

I have a decided "old school" product to mention. I developed a series of music flash cards to help aspiring musicians learn basic music theory while away from their instruments and have been selling them on my site (www.music-flash-cards.com). The cards are printed on actual playing cards and range from learning the notes to intervals, tempo markings, chord recognition and various terms and symbols.

As a means of developing site popularity, I am wondering if you would be willing to post a review or a link from your site to mine.

If this is not possible or is inappropriate, I understand.

Regardless, I would love to hear any feedback from you on the cards if you have a moment to take a look at the site.

Thanks for any consideration, Don
